Security Strategist in Construction and Property

In the role of security strategist for construction and property, you will belong to the Property Projects unit within the property department. The department is responsible for Svenska kraftnät's premises and consists of the units Property Projects, Property Management and Support, and Physical Security. The Property Projects unit currently consists of 6 employees. Svenska kraftnät's growth presents significant challenges in meeting local needs while our environment has become more unstable, affecting how security is managed within our local projects. Here, there are opportunities to create conditions for Svenska kraftnät to continue delivering on our mission to manage and develop the transmission network and be part of the green transition.

About the Position

The role of security strategist for construction and property is a new role, which means there are opportunities to influence the content and tasks. Your main responsibilities will be to contribute with expertise and strategies related to security protection linked to the construction process and to integrate this into all phases of construction projects. You will participate in the early stages of our projects to ensure that requirements are set correctly from the start, thereby directing the projects appropriately and reducing lead times. You will also be involved in driving the unit's development work in various areas with a focus on security strategic issues.

In some projects, there will also be more practical execution of security protection work and project management related to our projects.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting with business descriptions and position analyses
• Assisting in the work with information classification in our projects
• Developing and implementing strategies related to the execution of construction projects, integrating security protection into our processes
• Preparation of SSBs
• Security coordinator in construction projects
• Acting as the unit's spokesperson with the security department within Svenska Kraftnät and performing work related to requirements from the Security Department at Svenska Kraftnät

In this role, you will, among other things, perform presentations and communicate with both the business and management, which requires that your communication skills are very good and that you communicate clearly.

In this recruitment, great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.

You have an academic degree such as a civil or engineering degree or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät assesses as equivalent.

Furthermore, you have:

• At least 10 years of documented experience in assignments with security protection classified information, such as buildings for law enforcement agencies or other types of protected objects for critical societal operations concerning Sweden's security, of which at least 5 years of experience in security protection work within the framework of the Security Protection Act.
• You have very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of English in speech and writing.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience from:

• At least 5 years of documented work experience in commercial project management with good results in the construction and property sector
• Experience and understanding of the process of procurement of goods and services according to LOU or LUF
• Experience acting as the tenant's representative in a new, extension, or renovation project
• Experience with project management models PMI, IPMA, or similar
