We are looking for security specialists focused on personnel security for an authority in Stockholm. This is a consulting assignment.

The position is full-time, and a security clearance is required.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The assignment and job responsibilities

The authority is responsible for ensuring that the electricity transmission system is safe, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective - today and in the future. It operates as a state-owned enterprise and has over 1500 employees, the majority of whom work at the headquarters in Stockholm. Common functions are an integrated part of the authority that aims to solve shared challenges. Common functions support the entire organization and work daily to realize the authority's common goals. The division consists of communication, HR, legal department, procurement, security and preparedness, property, and sustainability.

As a Security Specialist in personnel security, you play a crucial role in ensuring that the authority recruits reliable and loyal employees from the perspective of the Security Protection Act. The authority needs creative and innovative abilities with diverse competencies – are you one of them? Job responsibilities You will conduct security clearances, special personal investigations, and interviews with individuals who are being considered for security classification. You will analyze and assess individuals' suitability to handle security-protected classified tasks and participate in security-sensitive activities. Furthermore, you will provide recommendations to decision-makers regarding the candidate's suitability for security classification.

Together with your team, you will continuously work to develop and improve the security clearance process and working methods. You will collaborate closely with other units within the authority to ensure that security standards are maintained and that processes comply with applicable legislation and guidelines.

Your role also involves staying updated on new security regulations and best practices, as well as educating and supporting the organization in security-related matters. You will be part of an expert team that constantly works to strengthen and develop security for the entire operation.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Academic degree or equivalent work experience deemed equivalent by the employer. At least 5 years of current and relevant work experience in conducting structured conversations in a professional context, such as interviews, investigations, personal assessments, security clearances, or similar. Work experience in presenting complex information and conclusions to decision-makers.

Desirable

Completed and documented training in conversation techniques related to personnel security of at least 40 hours Knowledge and experience of the structure and processes of electricity supply
