Consultant Assignment: Security Specialist in Personnel Security for a Long-Term Assignment (2 years)

We are looking for an experienced and analytically strong security specialist with particular expertise in personnel security. The assignment is with a government-related organization within critical infrastructure, where security protection is a central part of the work. The role is both strategic and operational, involving support for the organization to ensure the right person in the right place – based on both legal requirements and high internal standards.

Responsibilities

As a consultant in this role, you will:

• Conduct security assessments, special personal investigations, and interviews with individuals relevant for placement in security classification.
• Analyze and assess individuals' suitability to handle security-protected classified tasks.
• Present well-founded recommendations to decision-makers.
• Actively contribute to the development and efficiency of security assessment processes.
• Collaborate closely with other functions within the organization to ensure compliance.
• Stay updated on regulations and best practices, and support and educate the organization on security-related issues.

About the Assignment

• Location: Stockholm (on-site work at least 4 days/week)

Possibility for remote work: up to 20%

• Security clearance required before start (SUA and background check) preliminary start 1/6 but can occur earlier or later. Assignment start will take place after approved security clearance.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

• Academic degree or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years of experience in structured conversations in professional contexts, e.g., investigations, interviews, personnel assessments, or security assessments
• Experience in presenting complex information to decision-makers
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable:

• Documented training in conversation techniques (at least 40 hours) focused on personnel security
• Experience with the structure and processes of power supply
