We are looking for a Security Protection Coordinator who wants to help drive our work in personnel security forward within FMV's area of operations for army material. About the position

As a Security Protection Coordinator in personnel security, you will gather, process, and analyze information about individuals who are subject to security vetting and assess the person's loyalty, reliability, and vulnerability from a security perspective. The investigative work may include background checks, reference taking, as well as interviews and conversations.

You will support both managers and employees in their handling of security-related personnel matters at both departmental and unit levels, and you are expected to contribute to developing work methods and routines, creating structure in and following up on operations, as well as inspiring and motivating your colleagues.

Furthermore, you will work to ensure that government regulations, laws, and ordinances are followed in the operations you are involved in. You will participate in planning, follow-up, and compilation of reports.

The position is based in Stockholm. On-call duty may occur. Since both domestic and international travel is involved, you need to be prepared to be vaccinated. The position may also be physically and mentally demanding, so you should have good health.

About you

We are looking for someone with a relevant academic education or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. Furthermore, you have current and relevant experience in conducting security vetting interviews and working in an organization with high demands for integrity and security awareness. The position requires a B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have relevant and current experience in applying regulations in your work, have investigated security incidents, or worked with security-related analyses. This also applies if you have experience or knowledge of applying methods for investigations related to personnel matters. We see it as a benefit if you have training in security protection or have previously worked with planning and leading work with smaller groups.

You have the ability to weigh complex information and make various considerations, as well as demonstrate good judgment in statements, actions, and decisions. Furthermore, you are responsible and have a good ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. Since the role involves contact and collaboration with various parties, it is also important that you have good collaboration skills. You listen, communicate, and resolve challenging situations constructively. In the selection process, we will conduct tests with the support of an external provider.
