The Elderly Administration is responsible for city-wide issues regarding elderly care, as well as for coordinating, developing, and monitoring elderly care in the city in dialogue with the district committees.

Stockholm's Security Service is the department within the Elderly Administration responsible for the city's centralized operational parts, with the Alarm Reception as one of five units.

The Alarm Reception consists of about 45 employees who work around the clock, every day of the year. The Alarm Reception receives security alarms and ensures that incoming cases are handled efficiently and correctly. We are a service that never sleeps.

Your Role

As an alarm operator, you work with service to our citizens. You receive and manage incoming alarm calls from the city's citizens who have security alarms. The role also involves handling emergency situations and operational disturbances. Telephone and computer are your working tools. The work consists of meetings with new people, which means that communication and reception are fundamental parts of the assignment.

Your Competence and Experience

To be considered for this position, we want you to have:

• completed upper secondary education
• experience in customer service, customer reception, or alarm reception
• good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
• good computer skills

Meritorious:

• experience in elderly care

The working hours are scheduled, during the day and evening, and range between 06:45 and 22:00.
