Your new job

We are now looking for an engaged textile teacher for grades 7-9. With us, you will have bright, modern facilities, driven colleagues, and the opportunity to truly make a difference in students' development. Your role also includes mentorship in grade 9. You will be part of both a work team and a subject team, where you will work together to create conditions for successful learning in a safe environment with good relationships.

We have 470 students from grades 7 to 9. The school is located in a beautiful spot on the height above Norrahammar, next to sports and swimming facilities, as well as access to football fields. Flahult School is based on the principle of home base for each grade with associated work teams.

Our school strives to be a leader in preventive value-based work with close collaboration between educators and teachers focused on after-school care, special education teachers, and student health teams. Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher with a teaching license, or a candidate who has not yet received their teaching license or is in the final stages of their education, and is qualified to teach textile crafts for grades 7-9. All experience will be considered.

You are flexible, engaged, and have a strong interest in educating and developing young people based on their circumstances. You have an interest in knowledge and digital methods to enhance your teaching. You are confident in your leadership and are a good role model. As a person, you find it easy to collaborate but also take your own initiatives and make your own decisions in your work situation. We consider it an advantage if you have experience in teaching and working with students.

In addition, you are well-grounded in the primary school's mission and its governing documents and have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. You also have basic IT skills. Personal suitability is of great importance.
