Here, you will conduct teaching in the subject of Physical Education for grades 4-6 as well as some grades in the lower school, in our new beautiful sports hall, Hisingstorpshallen.

Welcome to Us

Our school area consists of two primary schools, Hisingstorpsskolan F-6 and Vätterslundsskolan F-3. The schools are located in scenic surroundings in Bymarken in the western parts of Jönköping, close to nature and our “school forest.” Currently, there are about 550 students and around 80 staff members in the school area. Hisingstorpsskolan is a school unit with students in grades F-6. Currently, there are about 450 students and just over 60 employees at the school. The school is organized into work teams around each grade, and there are five after-school centers at the school. The school area is characterized by the staff's commitment to providing high-quality teaching, a conducive learning environment, and high goal achievement. For several years, we have actively worked with recess activities and joy of movement as part of our safety work.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a degree and is a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach the subject of Physical Education. During the school year 2025/2026, you will teach grades 4-6 as well as some grades in the lower school in the subject of Physical Education. Depending on your qualifications, you may also teach other subjects. If you are at the end of your education and have not yet received your license, you are also welcome to apply for the position with us.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about teaching Physical Education and has the ability to plan and organize various joint activities at the school level related to the subject of Physical Education and other subjects. You are a clear leader and recognize the strength of being part of a team with other qualified teachers. You are flexible, familiar with the curriculum, and confident in your role and the tasks involved in the assignment. You are communicative and have a good ability to build positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Together with your colleagues, you take shared responsibility for the operation and contribute to a pleasant and cohesive environment. You work strategically and systematically for high goal achievement, safety, and a conducive learning environment. You base your work on the individual needs of the students, aiming to help them develop both academically and socially.

You are expected to have good experience in documenting your work and possess good skills in IT and digital tools. We place great importance on collaboration skills and personal suitability.
