Job Description

We are looking for an Instrument and Validation Specialist to lead the work on the qualification of instruments, equipment, and computerized systems within Galderma Uppsala's laboratories. In this role, you will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for ensuring that our instruments, equipment, and systems are in a qualified status and that the personnel performing qualifications have the support they need to work effectively. We also expect you to contribute to the development of the team and QC by being innovative, creative, and development-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks in accordance with delegations, QC certificates, and IT authorizations.
  • Coordinate, plan, and lead the work to qualify instruments and systems, as well as development projects in the area.
  • Contribute to the development and administration of processes to ensure that instruments, equipment, and systems within QC are in qualified/calibrated status and that Galderma Uppsala operates in accordance with industry practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in reporting process deviations and defects, engage in IT projects, and represent the area during inspections.
  • Review and sign quality documents within the area of competence, as well as perform actions related to data integrity and software management to ensure QC compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Documented education and experience in GXP as well as medical devices and/or pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Experience in GxP use of laboratory analytical systems and laboratory operations.
  • Documented experience in instrument and system qualification in a GxP environment.
  • Ability to explain procedures or methods to both internal and external parties.
  • Swedish and English, professional level.
  • 5-8 years of work experience.
