Höglandsförbundet – Collaboration is our strength!

Höglandsförbundet is a municipal association formed by Aneby, Eksjö, Nässjö, Sävsjö, and Vetlanda. These five municipalities, located in the Småland highlands, value collaboration and know that we become stronger together. By combining our strengths and resources, we can increase competence, better utilize resources, improve quality, and provide better service to residents. Today, we have a range of different operations that work for the benefit of the entire Högland.

One of the operations within Höglandsförbundet is Höglandsgymnasiet. Höglandsgymnasiet has schools in Eksjö, Nässjö, Sävsjö, and Vetlanda. In total, we have about 550 employees working to ensure that our approximately 3000 students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for the future in the workforce or further studies.

Your new job

Our special teacher in the field of Nature and Technology, which includes the programs NA, TE, EE, IN, VF, and BA, has moved on to a principal position, and we need to strengthen our competence in the area of special education for math/natural sciences.

As a special teacher in the sector, you will primarily work directly with students and teachers. You will work closely with students and meet both individual students and groups. You will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals within the student health team. The students are at the center, and they are the ones who need to succeed in school.

About you

As a person, we want you to be structured, collaborative, and able to create good relationships. You are well acquainted with our governing documents.

We are looking for someone with a pedagogical university education, preferably with a special education degree in math/natural sciences. If you have competence in other subject areas, that is an advantage. Personal suitability is crucial.
