Welcome to Sorgenfriskolan's after-school program! Are you interested in working in an after-school program that actively engages in a vibrant development process? Are you curious, positive, and open? Then you have come to the right place. As a primary teacher in the after-school program at Sorgenfriskolan, you will plan and conduct lessons and assess students in our after-school program. Based on the curriculum and governing documents, we together create a safe environment in the after-school program aimed at strengthening our students in both their knowledge development and personal growth while providing them with a meaningful leisure time.

In the after-school program, we also strive to promote diverse contacts, social community, and strengthen group relationships. While our students are in school, you will collaborate with our school staff, and it may also be relevant for you to teach one or more subjects during the students' school hours. Together, we create an operation that meets our students and guardians in the best way based on their individual needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed primary teacher in the after-school program who has been professionally active for at least 4 years. You have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply these in your daily work. Furthermore, you possess strong didactic and pedagogical skills that enable you to independently lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout the day.

Your teaching is modern and based on evidence-based research, and with a good familiarity and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools.

Sorgenfriskolan's vision: At Sorgenfriskolan, every student succeeds based on their conditions through high expectations, safety, community, and joy! Located in central Malmö, Sorgenfriskolan is situated in a calm and pleasant environment. The school operates with two to three parallel classes from grades F-9 housed in a beautiful 1920s building. Approximately 580 students attend the school. The school works with collegial learning and has a particular focus on values-based work. Teachers work in teams around each grade and the after-school program in departmental teams. We work hard to offer a good and varied learning environment for the students. The school day is characterized by a permissive climate with great respect for each other. Here, the student's development is at the center, and we start from the premise that everyone can succeed if we support them in the right way.
