Temporary Operations Controller for Southern Region

The Swedish Schools Inspectorate works for a school where all children, students, and adult learners receive a good quality education, an equitable education, and knowledge in a stimulating and safe environment. The operations include three branches: supervision, quality review, and assessment of permits for independent schools. We are located in Gothenburg, Linköping, Lund, Stockholm, and Umeå. The Southern Region consists of offices in Gothenburg, Lund, and Linköping, and the region has about 180 employees.

We are looking for

We are looking for a temporary operations controller for the southern region. We seek a positive and solution-oriented person who can quickly understand the work, adapt to changing conditions, and take on new tasks.

In the role of operations controller, you will have many points of contact within the region as well as with the authority's central functions. You will also have close cooperation with the regional controller in the northern region.

Workplace and tasks

The position is located within the regional office, which has about 20 employees. Your immediate supervisor is the regional office manager.

Your tasks will mainly consist of compiling various types of follow-ups, coordinating processes in the region, such as forecasts, project staffing, and selection, as well as contributing to the authority's work in the controller area. The focus will be on the region's various assignments and commitments. You will participate in the authority's follow-up and operational planning together with the regional controller for the northern region and centrally placed operations controllers.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic education in a field we consider applicable
• Several years of experience working in inspection activities
• Experience in operational planning and follow-up
• The work requires you to have a good ability to express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious

• Work experience from the Swedish Schools Inspectorate
• Experience in operational analysis at an authority and project management experience

The position

The position is a temporary appointment for about 4-6 months. The scope is full-time. Start date according to agreement.
