Financial Manager for a Family-Oriented Company in Central Stockholm

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a Financial Manager to start in May at a warm and family-oriented company located in central Stockholm. The company is a smaller management firm with close collaboration both internally and with external clients. The company offers a dynamic work environment, flexible working days, and a full-time employment of 34 hours per week. You will initially start as a consultant at SJR and then transition to a direct employment with the client after 6 months.

About the Position

As a Financial Manager at our client, you will have a central role in the company's financial operations. You will be responsible for the entire accounting process and provide support to two accounting assistants. You will report to the CEO.

Main Responsibilities

• Ongoing accounting and period reconciliations
• Quarterly and monthly financial statements
• Annual financial statements and reports
• Accounting and declaration of taxes, including VAT
• Ongoing contact with clients
• Supervision of 2 accounting assistants
• Approval of certain invoices
• Participation in audits
• Some handling of securities
• Answering phone calls as needed (mainly reporting issues from tenants)

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in accounting and financial statement work
• Good knowledge of taxes and VAT
• Experience in leading and supporting accounting assistants
• A structured and self-driven work approach
• Good communication skills and a sense of service

Meritorious:

• Experience in property management or a similar industry
• Experience in payroll management (we use Flex Payroll)
• Knowledge of our systems:
• Vitec 3L Pro
• Vitec Hyra
• Vitec Ekonomi
• Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting
• Microsoft Office

Personal Characteristics

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a smaller team with a family-like atmosphere. You are accustomed to a broad role where you work on various tasks.
