Your future tasks

As a senior business lawyer, you will work in a business-oriented role and be involved in several exciting projects and export deals in close collaboration with our business managers and analysts. The tasks are varied and include work on both large and small issues that require significant financial legal expertise and experience, independence, integrity, and good judgment combined with a commercial approach.

Your tasks as a senior business lawyer include working with deals throughout their duration, interpreting EKN's terms, assessing new financial solutions, and contributing to a good understanding and management of the risks that EKN insures. As a senior business lawyer, you will have contacts with exporters, banks, and legal representatives in Sweden and internationally, as well as EKN's counterparts in other countries.

Your future team

The role of senior business lawyer is located in the Legal Department and reports to the Chief Legal Officer. The department consists of 18 people primarily business lawyers, but the unit also includes administrative lawyers, information security officers, compliance officers, data protection officers, procurement officers, and chief registrars.

Your background

We are looking for someone with a Swedish law degree and several years of qualified professional experience as a business lawyer and/or attorney, or equivalent experience that EKN assesses as comparable. You should have documented broad expertise in business law. Experience in financing and/or insurance law is advantageous, as is experience in project financing. We also prefer candidates with experience from courts and/or government/public sector.

The work requires a high level of communication and presentation skills both orally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

Furthermore, you are trustworthy, have an easy time collaborating with others, and are skilled at building relationships both internally and externally.

Other

Permanent employment starting as soon as possible. The position involves business travel both domestically and internationally.

The position is based at our headquarters in Stockholm.
