Are you an experienced HR generalist with payroll experience? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you get to work on everything from labor law and recruitment to payroll administration and HR projects? Then this consulting assignment might be for you!
We are now looking for an HR Generalist for a consulting assignment at Aryzta Bakeries Nordic, starting as soon as possible, preferably in early May 2025. The assignment initially runs until the end of the year but may be extended.
About the role
As an HR generalist, you will be an important part of the Swedish HR team and work closely with the CEO and other department heads. You will handle a wide range of HR-related tasks and play a key role in supporting both managers and employees within the organization. The team includes a Payroll specialist in Stockholm and an HR/payroll administrator in Malmö. During your onboarding period, you will receive a thorough handover from the current HR manager, who is retiring in the summer.
The office is located right next to the bakery, where you are welcomed each morning by the delightful smell of freshly baked bread. The work environment is warm and familial, and you will become part of a close-knit team of five colleagues, including the CEO. At Aryzta Bakeries Nordic, approximately 122 employees work, of which 20 are office staff.
Your main responsibilities include:
Labor Law & Union Relations – Contact with union representatives, negotiations regarding wages, schedule and organizational changes, and handling labor law matters.
Work Environment & Compliance – Participation in safety committee meetings, work environment efforts, and HR audits. Payroll & Administration – Payroll administration, wage mapping, and reporting and administration in HR systems (preferably Agda). HR Processes & Recruitment – Recruitment, onboarding & offboarding, disciplinary and individual cases, and rehabilitation. Manager & Employee Support – Support in competency mapping, succession planning, and follow-up of HR KPIs. Engagement & Culture – Internal surveys, engagement surveys, and ensuring compliance with laws and collective agreements. About you
We are looking for someone who is a responsive and collaborative person with a structured and flexible working style. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you need to be adaptable and methodical, while also being able to stand firm when necessary and ensure that laws and regulations are followed.
You have a natural ability to handle challenging and sensitive situations with calm and professionalism. With your communicative and unpretentious attitude, you inspire trust and contribute to a positive work environment. You are a problem solver with good conflict management skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work.
Furthermore, you are self-driven and have a strong analytical ability, which allows you to continuously interpret and apply laws, regulations, and agreements in your work.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
- Degree in HR (bachelor's degree, vocational training, or equivalent).
- At least 3–5 years of professional experience in broad HR work
- Good understanding of labor law and experience with collective agreements for both office staff and workers
- Experience in payroll administration
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with one or more HR and payroll systems; experience with Agda is a plus.
