About the position

At Perido, we are now looking for a senior accountant for our client, a company that acts as a strategic partner and service provider for businesses in the retail sector. With a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises, they offer tailored support in business management, finance, IT, HR, and production. By streamlining processes and creating sustainable solutions, they help their clients grow, develop, and achieve their business goals. With a combination of expertise and a results-oriented approach, they contribute to strengthening competitiveness and driving businesses forward. You will be based at the office located in central Stockholm.

Your responsibilities

As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for ongoing accounting, monthly and annual financial statements, and balance reconciliations for one of the company's clients – a well-known clothing company. The role involves independently managing accounting and reporting in accordance with applicable legislation and accounting standards. You will have ongoing contact with banks, authorities, and auditors, as well as handle tax declarations and VAT reporting.

Furthermore, you will participate in audit work, analyze financial data, and contribute to the development of accounting processes. The role requires precision, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to ensure quality and efficiency within the accounting department.

Your qualities

To succeed in the role of senior accountant, you need to be meticulous, analytical, and have a strong drive. You are self-sufficient and take responsibility for delivering high-quality accounting and reporting. At the same time, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team while maintaining contact with various stakeholders, such as auditors and authorities. An unpretentious attitude, solution focus, and the ability to work structured even under time pressure are important qualities to thrive and develop in the role.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience working in a similar role
• Extensive experience in ongoing accounting, monthly financial statements, VAT reporting, and tax declarations
• Good system proficiency
• Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written Swedish

Meritorious:

• Experience working in retail
• Experience with inventory accounting
• Experience working in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment for six months. Start as soon as possible.
