JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of our team, you will work closely with each individual and contribute to them reaching their full potential and an independent life. The target group is adults with support needs due to social vulnerability, for example, as a result of mental illness or dependency issues.

You will use your pedagogical approach to create participation and promote independence among our users. The work will be varied and include working in the user's home for a pleasant home environment, in community centers, and in various arenas where people meet. You will motivate activities and engagement to counteract involuntary loneliness and social exclusion. You will assist and support the user in receiving and implementing changes based on their ability to create a functioning everyday life.

The work requires documentation according to the Social Services Act and other administrative tasks. Collaboration with internal and external partners is an important part of the work to achieve the best results.

As a summer substitute in the Adult Support Team, you will work on weekdays, weekends, and evenings, as well as being on-call at home. The on-call duty means that you are a support for the users and participate in the municipality's crisis support during unforeseen events. Solo work may occur. You will have coordinators to lead and guide you in your daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a social or treatment pedagogue or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. You have at least two years of post-secondary education.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Knowledge and experience of MI, ESL, and low-arousal approaches, etc.
• Knowledge and experience of working with the target group.
• Knowledge and experience of the Housing First method.

To succeed in your work with us, you need to have a positive view of people and a strong commitment. You must be able to work independently, responsibly, and feel confident in making your own decisions based on the current situation.
