Ward 12 has beds for patients with respiratory diseases as well as general cardiology patients. We are also experienced in caring for infection patients who are often relocated to us. You will meet patients with various diagnoses, where COPD and lung cancer are among the most common. Our patients sometimes require acute care, but qualified palliative care is also provided.

We belong to one of the largest healthcare clinics with nearly 300 employees. The area of operation for cardiology, pulmonary medicine, and clinical physiology provides highly specialized care with advanced methods and techniques, as well as basic medical care and palliative care at the end of life. The clinic consists of three sections: the cardiology section, the pulmonary section, and the clinical physiology section.

Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the three acute hospitals in the region where we provide advanced medical care, research, and education. In both 2020 and 2019, USÖ received the prestigious award for Best University Hospital from Dagens Medicin. USÖ won the most significant category for medical quality, had the best results in the categories of accessibility, economy, and avoiding pressure sores and overcrowding. Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities include basic and specific nursing care in close collaboration with other staff members. The nursing assistant's care efforts are essential in the care we provide. In addition to the important personal care, you will be responsible for various types of sampling, wound dressings, monitoring in acute situations, documentation, and risk assessments. As a nursing assistant with us, you will have a broad area of responsibility and varied tasks. You will have the opportunity to develop, whether you are new to the profession or have previous experience.

Qualifications

We welcome you who are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on emergency care according to the previous program structure, or are a trained nursing assistant within the current program structure. To assess employability, transcripts of your nursing education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of your protected professional title must be attached to your application.

About the Position:

We are looking for two nursing assistants for permanent employment at 100%. We use a wish schedule that allows you to influence the scheduling of work hours. Your ability to be flexible with working hours (which may also include nights) will be valued.
