About the position

As a nurse with us, you will work on all departments in the building. You will have very close collaboration with our occupational therapists, as well as with other professional groups such as nursing staff, physiotherapists, doctors, and unit managers. It is our close team collaboration that builds our entire operation! You will work based on each individual's unique needs, and since our patients come and go to and from various actors, this leads to a lot of cooperation with others. This may involve specialist care at USÖ including discharge coordinators, Region Örebro County's primary care including care coordinators, home care, receiving care and nursing homes, mobile teams, and the authority department.

Examples of tasks:

• be responsible together with doctors for medical assessments and interventions
• map and meet nursing needs based on a person-centered approach
• collaborate with nursing staff by demonstrating, instructing, and guiding in nursing as well as delegating tasks
• actively participate in evaluating and developing the operation

About the workplace

At Tullhuset, we operate Örebro Municipality's largest short-term accommodation, which consists of four floors with a total of 52 care places and 10 overflow places as needed. Our operation is conducted in close collaboration with Region Örebro County and the geriatric clinic at Örebro University Hospital, which provides medical staffing and physiotherapists/rehab assistants. We have resources for assessing ongoing care and support needs, enhanced resources for rehabilitation, and continuous access to doctors during the day on weekdays as well as primary care on weekends and evenings. Our operation should be based on providing individuals with knowledge, good treatment, high participation, and continuity.

The area of care and support is part of the Social Administration. The operations include care and support, preventive activities, authority exercise in the area, as well as housing placement and housing adaptation. Qualifications

As a nurse, you are confident in yourself and have good self-awareness. You take responsibility for your tasks in an independent and structured manner and enjoy having your own areas of responsibility. Being attentive and accommodating in your approach, both towards colleagues and patients, is a given for you. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to ensure that information gets through. Additionally, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes.

Since the work involves documentation in quality and operational systems, good computer skills are required. Furthermore, you must be proficient in the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with patients and other staff as well as digitally document what the operation requires.

Requirements:

• licensed nurse

Meritorious:

• experience working as a nurse in elderly care
• experience working with short-term care and rehabilitation
• experience working in inpatient care
