Registered Nurse in Intensive Care (ASI). The Anesthesia and Intensive Care Unit is looking for a nurse at Lindesberg Hospital.

The Anesthesia and Intensive Care Unit is now seeking engaged and driven nurses to join our wonderful team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and DKE/post-operative department at Lindesberg Hospital. We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and ready to develop in your role by broadening your knowledge. The ICU is a specialized department currently consisting of two beds. Here, severely ill patients are cared for, requiring careful monitoring, advanced treatment, and specific nursing care. In the ICU, patients are also cared for after major or complicated surgeries, and during weekends, the ICU also functions as a monitoring unit after emergency surgeries. As a registered nurse in the ICU (ASI), you will work alongside colleagues who are specialists in intensive care. In the ASI role, you will receive theoretical training and practical knowledge with the hope of further educating yourself as a specialist nurse in intensive care within the next few years.

In the DKE/post-operative department, patients are cared for who are both inpatients and those who come in the morning and go home after recovering from surgery. The patients we serve come from orthopedic, surgical, women's clinic, ear clinic, and public dental care.

The Anesthesia and Intensive Care Unit operates at the region's three hospitals: Örebro University Hospital, Karlskoga Hospital, and Lindesberg Hospital. It is a large unit with approximately 400 employees. Our areas of work include anesthesia, intensive care, as well as postoperative and day surgery.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse who wishes to further educate themselves in intensive care in the long term. If you have experience in acute care, pre-, post-operative, and intermediate care, we consider it an advantage.
