Here you will have the opportunity to work proactively and preventively to strengthen the protective factors of our young Stockholmers and reduce risk factors.

You will be part of Kungsholmen's safety work and collaborate with schools, social services, police, youth centers, and the city's other field assistants.

This is a temporary position until December 2025.

Your role

As a field assistant, you will work outreach and in youth arenas, both during the day and in the evenings. You will conduct school lecture series, lead meetings with guardians and other adults, and participate in structured parent support programs. You will also attend parent meetings and collaborate with other actors in society.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of:

• ABC-teen or Komet-teen
• Machofabriken
• ROS (Respect and Self-Respect)

To thrive in this role, you need to be good at communicating and listening. You are outgoing and have a good ability to speak in front of larger groups and easily create good relationships with children, young people, and various partners. You also have a good ability to independently structure, plan, and drive your work forward.

The Social Services Department is responsible for caring for people with disabilities, individual and family care, financial assistance, and labor market measures, as well as field and leisure activities. In 2025, the responsibility for playground activities will be transferred to the department. For certain positions within the Social Services Department, a criminal record check may be required.
