In the role of Life Living Inspirer/Activity Coach with us at Forenede Care, you will provide good care, service, and support to our residents. With us, you make a difference every day while having fun at work. Together with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, you will help shape the future of elderly care. Here you will work Hallen is a special accommodation focusing on somatic care, dementia, and day activities. The accommodation has 69 places and is centrally located near the subway and commuter train.

Job Responsibilities

The Life Living team ensures that residents at Hallen receive meaningful activities based on a salutogenic and person-centered approach.

As a Life Living employee, you are responsible for planning daily activities and also for enhancing the residents' lives with that little extra. Residents should be able to maintain their interests, but you should also inspire them to find new interests that bring well-being and quality of life. Being a values leader is part of your mission.

You will be involved in creating a network with various organizations so that residents can participate in community life. Together with your closest colleague, you are responsible for seeking contacts with foundations, volunteer organizations, and the municipality to drive various projects within your area of responsibility.

Life Living employees are responsible for the team with Hallen activity representatives, and together with the residents, you will develop different forms of stimulation and sources of joy. You have overall responsibility for supporting the activity representatives and contact persons so that you can together with the residents find what constitutes quality of life for each individual.

You work from a person-centered and rehabilitative perspective and have the ability to engage with and apply relevant research-related working methods. You should pedagogically convey new methods to other staff.

Of course, we work with a team spirit and step in to help where needed.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a colleague for full-time/part-time employment in a permanent position with a probationary period.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A university degree in health pedagogy or a nursing assistant with documented experience working as an activity coach in elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

We also see it as an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at creating good relationships and being service-oriented. With us, you work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
