About the Workplace

In the city, the Social Administration is responsible for individual and family care. Our mission is to enable residents to become independent in life so that they can take an active part in society.

We are undergoing an exciting organizational change focusing on creating a more accessible social service based on three main areas: authority, interventions, and services as well as housing. We have high ambitions. But to succeed, we need you (and a few others).

The authority's investigation section consists of just over 100 social workers divided into five units with two teams in each unit, where each team has mixed expertise in social psychiatry, addiction, and child and family issues.

We are now looking for new employees, one with experience in authority practice related to addiction and one with experience in authority practice related to social psychiatry for our teams.

Job Responsibilities

As a social worker, you will be responsible for investigation, assessment, planning, and follow-up regarding individuals applying for assistance in our unit. An important part of the work is documentation and collaboration, both with colleagues within the administration and with other authorities/organizations.

The work group is characterized by a strong desire to develop and achieve common goals and has high competence and experience, contributing to an exciting and developing work environment.

Qualifications

To be qualified for this position, you need to have;

• a degree in social work or equivalent education assessed as equivalent by the employer
• experience in working with addiction
• a driver's license and the ability to drive.

ASI and CAN training, as well as experience working with these assessment tools and knowledge of the operational system Lifecare, are meritorious.
