Who is Remeo?

About five percent of patients who survive intensive care remain in the ICU for an extended period because they are too ill to progress in the healthcare chain. This is where Remeo comes in. Remeo's intensive care rehabilitation is a new and specially developed form of care for long-term critically ill patients in Sweden. We offer high-quality and high-tech care and rehabilitation outside the traditional hospital environment. Starting from intensive/intermediate care, we create an individual care plan for each patient, where rehabilitation and care go hand in hand from day one.

What is the best part of working with us?

  • You will contribute to the development of future high-specialized care concepts for long-term critically ill patients
  • You will develop your knowledge in intensive care rehabilitation
  • You will receive thorough introduction and ongoing training
  • You have the opportunity to influence both working hours and the work situation in general, through e.g. desired schedule and reduced working hours, e.g. weekly working time of 32h in three shifts
  • We work with feedback, continuous learning in the workplace, supervision, and reflection
  • We have collective agreements, occupational pension ITP, as well as wellness grants and other benefits
  • We offer competitive salaries, night supplements for specialist nurses, and 50% higher OB supplements than the collective agreement
  • Good chances for increased responsibility and further development. Among other things, there is the opportunity to work as a weaning nurse where you work to drive the work forward in the weaning process.

What will you be doing?

  • With your experience and specialist competence, you will act as support and advisor for other nursing staff and have a central and leading role
  • The specialist nurses at Remeo serve as care leaders at the clinic during on-call hours together with competent nurses and nursing assistants. Of course, there is always access to a doctor at home.
  • Care for patients with varying diagnoses and complex nursing needs. Together with other colleagues in the multiprofessional team, you will participate in nursing work and rehabilitation.
  • Care for patients with varying needs for respiratory support, such as tracheostomy, invasive or non-invasive ventilation, and oxygen therapy
  • Manage medical technology equipment

Who are you?

  • You have a Swedish nursing license
  • You have at least three years of experience as a specialist nurse in intensive care or anesthesia
  • You are engaged, unpretentious, confident in your competence, and focus on the patient's needs
  • You find it easy to collaborate with others, are flexible, and enjoy supporting and teaching colleagues

About Remeo

Remeo's employees make all the difference

Since its inception in 2013, Remeo has developed into a competence center for weaning from ventilators, decannulation, and intensive care rehabilitation, and we also participate in the healthcare chain for national highly specialized care for spinal cord injuries. During the time the clinic has existed, a unique competence has been built up. We work in multiprofessional care teams where everyone contributes their specific knowledge and experience to ensure that the patient receives safe and secure care and rehabilitation. A strong sense of community is part of Remeo's care concept.

Read here (https://remeo.se/om-remeo/teamet-pa-remeo/)about all the different competencies in the team that collaborate around the patient.

Our patients

About 2/3 of our patients are referred from Stockholm's healthcare while about 1/3 are referred from other parts of Sweden. The typical patient is very fragile after a long period in intensive care, and often has several complicating diseases in the background.

Beautiful and modern environment

The clinic is located in scenic surroundings in Stora Sköndal by Drevviken and currently has space for 12 patients. The premises and equipment are designed to provide modern healthcare in an inviting, cozy environment with opportunities for training, outdoor activities, and socializing with relatives.
