About the Position

Here, we value broad competence and independence, and we strive to offer good continuing education and high medical quality. As a general practitioner with us, you will meet patients of all ages, both in acute and planned appointments, both digitally and physically.

In your role, you will also mentor AT, ST, and BT doctors and support other professional categories in medical assessments.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Standard outpatient work, including annual check-ups and investigations, acute visits, and minor surgical procedures.
• Round work with nurses.
• Ongoing quality work both at your own unit and collectively within primary care Tiohundra.
• Mentoring students and other professional categories.
• Digital healthcare meetings.

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Be a qualified specialist in general medicine with Swedish authorization.
• Have experience in primary care.
• Have good language skills in Swedish, both written and spoken.

It is also meritorious if you have:

• A driver's license and driving experience.

About Us

Norrtälje Södra Health Center has approximately 11,000 registered patients, and about 35 employees work here. The health center is located in central Norrtälje.

At the health center, you will have colleagues with high competence and long experience. We are a stable staff group with broad expertise characterized by a good work climate and collaboration across professional boundaries. With us, there are diabetes nurses, heart failure nurses, asthma/COPD clinics, and a geriatric clinic. The health center also has a rehab team with a social worker and psychologist, as well as a rehabilitation coordinator. All personnel categories are engaged in student mentoring in one way or another, which we believe contributes to our consistently high ratings from our medical candidates. A good indicator is that our ST doctors have chosen to stay with us as fully qualified specialists - something we are very proud of.

Tiohundra has 5 health centers and 1 branch health center. We collaborate on quality and development issues both with the hospital and other operations within the company.
