We are now looking for you who are a nurse and want to join our wonderful team here at Barkarby Health Center!

Barkarby Health Center is a medium-sized health center and is part of the Stockholm County Health Care Area (SLSO), with approximately 8600 registered patients.

We are a very pleasant workplace with 25 permanently employed staff. The health center is a few minutes' walk from Barkarby commuter station. It takes about 15 minutes to Stockholm C.

With us, district nurses, nurses, specialist doctors in general medicine, ST doctors, nursing assistants, social workers, psychologists, and administrative staff work together.

We have short decision-making paths and a close and unpretentious dialogue in daily work between all professions. This strengthens our patient safety where the patient is in focus. All our patients are offered a fixed doctor contact.

Job Responsibilities

The work as a Nurse involves common tasks for nurses at health centers such as telephone counseling, nurse appointments for planned and unplanned visits.

As a Nurse in primary care, you meet patients of all ages and from different cultures. The patients have a variety of diseases and problems. The work requires broad competence and independence. You work independently but also in close collaboration with other professions.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse with authorization to work within Swedish healthcare. You have previous experience working in primary care in Region Stockholm.

Experience with the TakeCare journal system is an advantage. Good knowledge of Swedish, at least level C is a requirement.

Employment Form

Permanent employment. Full-time 100%. A probationary period may be applied. Working hours Monday-Friday. Start date by agreement.

To counteract the spread of MRSA, Stockholm County Health Care Area (SLSO) applies health certificates before new employment and regulates the opportunities for healthcare personnel to wear piercings.

  • in addition to Swedish professional authorization, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
