Husby-Akalla health center is a well-established clinic where we have the whole world as our workplace.

The health center has approximately 56,000 registered patients. We are centrally located in Akalla center, just a minute from the subway station and close to the E4. It takes about 20 minutes by subway from T-Centralen to reach us.

Our mission also includes working on health promotion for the entire population in our area, which is done in various ways in collaboration with non-profit organizations and the municipality in the area.

Husby Akalla academic health center is a primary care clinic with home care, diabetes, and psychosocial services that is currently undergoing an exciting development phase. Job Responsibilities:

All relevant tasks as a nursing assistant in the clinic at the health center, reception, and if necessary also in home care, such as blood pressure measurement, EKG, wound dressing, capillary sampling, insulin and medication administration. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to develop and take responsibility for certain administrative tasks at the clinic.

A varied job with the opportunity to vary tasks. This is done based on individual delegations where you are required to pass knowledge tests and demonstrate practically that you have the knowledge required for the assignment.

Requirements:

Nursing assistant with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare and eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Nursing students who have completed at least semester 4 or medical students who have completed at least semester 5. Experience working in primary care and home care is an advantage. Experience with the TakeCare journal system is also an advantage.

You enjoy working independently but also in a team and find it easy to collaborate across professional boundaries. Planning and coordination are familiar concepts for you.

Employment Type:

Intermittent employment (hourly employment). Start date according to agreement.
