PTP Psychologist at Liljeholmen's University Health Center
We are looking for a PTP psychologist for a combined position involving clinical work and participation in a clinical study evaluating a type of cognitive behavioral therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

About the Clinic
Liljeholmen's University Health Center is one of three university health centers that, together with the Academic Primary Care Center (APC), constitutes the university healthcare of primary care. The health center has approximately 33,000 registered patients, and through the university component, we integrate clinic with research, education, continuing education, and development, where our mission is to strengthen the entire primary care in the Stockholm Region. We conduct research in several areas and supervise a large number of students from various professions. At our clinics, we work interdisciplinary and patient-centered.
The psychosocial team consists of psychologists, two psychotherapists, a nurse, and a rehabilitation coordinator. We offer assessment, counseling, and treatment according to the primary care assignment for children, adolescents, and adults. Integrated into the operations, we conduct clinical treatment research in collaboration with Karolinska Institute, focusing on common conditions such as depression, generalized anxiety, long-term stress-related ill health, and PTSD. Job Responsibilities:
As a PTP psychologist with us, you will learn the primary care assignment regarding mental health from the ground up. This means meeting patients with a wide range of issues and care needs and learning to assess the level of care, perform diagnostics, and classify different types and levels of mental health issues, as well as conduct psychoeducational work and provide psychological treatment. We offer treatment based on CBT and MCT in both digital and physical forms. The work also involves collaboration with other professionals at the health center.
The research component involves working in a clinical treatment study conducted at the health center in collaboration with the Center for Psychiatric Research (CPF). The work involves coordinating the treatment study, participating in data collection, managing collected data, etc. Assessment and treatment of study participants may also be relevant. As a PTP psychologist, you will be part of the regional PTP program.
We follow collaboration agreements and conduct union cooperation with local representatives within the organization.
Employment Form:
The position is a fixed-term employment of 12 months from the start date. Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
Qualifications:
Graduated psychologist with a focus on CBT. Interest in and experience working in clinical studies and clinical experience with PTSD patients is an advantage.
Personal Qualities:
We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in working in primary care and places great importance on professional interaction with both patients and colleagues. Planning and coordination are familiar concepts for you, and you are comfortable working independently and making your own decisions. Qualities that are beneficial for this position include being attentive, flexible, and well-structured. Interest in and experience with clinical treatment research and trauma/PTSD is an advantage.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and good collaboration skills.
