About the role

Your tasks include:

• being a support for unit managers, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff regarding medication use and medication-related issues
• contributing to safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication treatment and management
• participating in the medication committee twice a year in your role as an expert
• being involved in reviewing deviations regarding medications as needed
• overall control of valid licenses and support to the medical team in the use of unusual/unapproved medications
• ensuring that regulations and guidelines regarding medications are followed
• planning and managing emergency stock at the hospital
• being responsible for medication dispensers at our units.
• assisting with medication reviews based on competence and previous experience.

You will be one of two pharmacists at the hospital. The assignment will be balanced between hospital-wide and operation-specific work. The distribution may vary periodically based on the needs of the operations. You have your primary employment in the hospital management and report to the chief physician in close consultation with the respective clinic's operations manager.

Your experience

We are looking for someone who is a licensed pharmacist or a pharmacist with advanced training in clinical pharmacy. You express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You have very good skills in Microsoft Office and you find it easy to learn new IT systems.

Practical experience in hospital pharmacy is an advantage.
