About the Position

We are now looking for a resident physician to be placed at Norrtälje Södra Health Center located next to Norrtälje Hospital. As a resident physician in primary care at Tiohundra, you will be offered a flexible work environment. We have previously won awards for innovative and effective working methods that enhance quality and create added value for patients, users, relatives, and employees. We offer local training days in addition to your own study time and joint training with the ST Forum Nordost within Region Stockholm.

We have a pleasant atmosphere in the workgroup. As a resident physician with us, you will quickly notice the close and personal contact with both specialists at Norrtälje Hospital and staff at other health centers.

The position is full-time. According to the Stockholm region's policy, employment begins with a 3-month probationary period. This time will then be credited towards your residency.

Start date is negotiable, and when the business allows, some opportunity for remote work is offered.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Approximately 20% continuing education throughout the residency period including reading time, courses, lectures, and group meetings
• Standard reception work which includes annual follow-ups and investigations, acute visits, minor surgical procedures, gynecology, eye and ear diseases, and much more
• Home healthcare
• Rounds with nurses
• Ongoing quality work both at your own unit and collectively in primary care TioHundra
• Supervision of students and other professional categories

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Have a Swedish medical license.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

About Us

Norrtälje Södra Health Center has about 11,000 registered patients and employs approximately 35 staff members. The health center is located in central Norrtälje.

At the health center, you will find colleagues with high competence and long experience. We are a stable staff group with broad expertise characterized by a good working climate and collaboration across professional boundaries. We have diabetes nurses, heart failure nurses, asthma/COPD clinics, and a geriatric clinic. Additionally, there is a rehabilitation team with a social worker and psychologist as well as a rehabilitation coordinator. All staff categories are engaged in student supervision in one way or another, which we believe contributes to the fact that we have often received top ratings from our medical candidates. A good indication is that our resident physicians have chosen to stay with us after completing their residency - something we are very proud of!

Tiohundra has 5 health centers and 1 branch health center. We collaborate on quality and development issues both with the hospital and other operations within the company.
