Our ASIH unit is centrally located in Södertälje, next to the Södertälje central commuter station. You can easily reach us by commuter train or bus.

About us At Aleris ASIH, we work in multidisciplinary teams with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists to provide our patients with the best care. We operate from several geographical locations in Stockholm County. Aleris ASIH is part of Aleris Primary Care, which also includes two specialized palliative care departments, Basic Home Care, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Urgent Care.

Our organization has extensive experience in providing ASIH, and today we have nine different ASIH teams in the southern parts of Stockholm County. We have high competence and a well-established working method, and we run a well-functioning palliative inpatient care department with 24 beds located at Handens Hospital. Within ASIH, we care for severely ill patients who are treated in their own homes and require advanced care interventions that would otherwise be provided in inpatient care. Our goal is to create conditions for the best possible quality of life, regardless of where the patient is cared for. This includes providing the best possible symptom control and relief based on the patient's own wishes and through high availability around the clock.

Everyone in our multidisciplinary team collaborates closely to meet the patients' needs in the best possible way. We work person-centered and use the 6 S's as support in our approach. We also actively work on the implementation of digitalization in healthcare, such as video visits and message reception for the unit.

ASIH Södertälje has excellent working facilities close to both public transport and Södertälje center. The tasks of a nurse are varied and challenging, contributing to continuous development. You will work with digital tools and always from a person-centered approach.

About You As a person We are looking for someone who values providing good care, a personal approach, and maintains high quality in patient work through professionalism. As a nurse, you are used to working independently and easily adapt to the various situations you encounter. We hope you want to engage in the development of the organization and collaborate with your colleagues to promote modern and efficient care.

Background You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist competence. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in palliative care and specialized home care. Previous experience working within ASIH and/or oncology care, preferably hematology, as well as other relevant experiences are meritorious for the position.

Other - is a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in ASIH or oncology care, preferably hematology. At least five years of experience as a nurse - is communicative and enjoys larger contexts/is outgoing - is attentive, empathetic, and present with integrity and high loyalty - has a positive attitude, thrives in a fast-paced work environment, and has a good ability to prioritize and structure your work - is flexible and open to new challenges, interested in development, thinks innovatively, and finds new solutions - has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - has a B driver's license, which is a requirement.
