- Only daytime work, shifts vary between 07:00 to 17:00, weekends 07:30-16:00

About the role As a nurse, you are responsible for the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed, conducting planned risk assessments, and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.
Collaboration and support You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. In this, you work closely with the home's team leaders who are responsible for the care staff.
Clear routines To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and accessible routines, governing documents, and checklists. About Villa Båthöjden
With views of forests and nature in beautiful Nacka, Villa Båthöjden is located. Here we have 56 places divided into 6 departments, of which 5 are dementia departments and one is a somatic department. Here, the proximity to nature is tangible and an important part of our work. The nursing home in the fantastic premises was inaugurated in March 2011. In planning Båthöjden, the latest research on aging and age-related diseases is used. The building is therefore designed with space and beautiful materials to contribute to a sense of freedom, alongside the need for framing and clarity for people with dementia. Public transport: Buses depart from Slussen and Nacka Forum. For those driving, there is free parking available. Dementia certification We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and interaction through Dementia Academy (https://www.vardaga.se/var-aldreomsorg/demens/).
Animals in care Here we work with animals in care, and we have regular visits from therapy animals.
Your experience and knowledge You are a licensed nurse, and we prefer that you have worked for a few years in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-sick, and it requires that you have both an overview of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience in documentation are important.
