Then we can offer you a position where you will receive a full monthly salary during your studies. After completing your education, you will start your specialist position at Södertälje Hospital's operating department. During the summer break of the education, you will work in the operating room as a nurse.

The operating department at Södertälje Hospital:

In the operating department, we work with Orthopedics, Surgery, Urology, and Gynecology. We are a general surgical operating department where we handle both acute and elective patient flows. Here, we are flexible and adaptable in both planning and tasks based on the needs of the patient and the organization. Together, we work towards the same goal where everyone in the team is a key person to provide good care in the best possible way.

Your personal qualities:

As an anesthesia or operating nurse, you enjoy working independently while also collaborating easily with the team. You see opportunities instead of obstacles and can inspire your colleagues to engage in improvement work. As a person, you are responsible in your profession, have good pedagogical skills, and a holistic perspective from both patient and employee viewpoints.

Since this is a permanent position, we will emphasize personal qualities.

Your qualifications:

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse with the right to practice within Swedish healthcare.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a nurse.
• You must be able to present an admission certificate for studies to become an anesthesia or operating nurse starting no later than the autumn semester 2025.

Employment form:

Permanent employment within anesthesia or surgery. You will start with a paid specialist training that then transitions into a position as a specialist nurse within the 24/7 agreement.

As a nurse within the 24/7 operation, a working time agreement applies with the possibility of retention bonuses (in time) and reduced weekly working hours for night work. If you work compressed weekends and more scheduled nights, you also have the opportunity for additional earned time that can be taken out as time off, money, or pension contributions.
