Operating Room Nurse Wanted for Module 1

We at Module 1 are now looking for an engaged and competent operating room nurse who wants to be part of our dedicated team.

Here you will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating environment where the patient's best interests are always in focus. At SÖS, surgery is divided into 5 modules with about 6 operating rooms per module. All modules are organizationally under VO Perioperative Care and Intensive Care (PVI).

In our module, we operate elective patients in 5 state-of-the-art operating rooms. We are at the forefront of implementing the latest methods and technologies in the profession.

As an Operating Room Nurse with us, you will work with an exciting mix of day surgery and larger inpatient surgeries. Patients come from various specialties such as breast, colorectal, ENT, and urology. Procedures are performed through open surgery, laparoscopy, transurethral, and robotic surgery.

Job Responsibilities:

You will work in a team in the operating room together with nursing assistants/operating room nurses, surgeons, and anesthetists. Your tasks are largely the usual tasks for operating room nurses in an operating room.

We also want all employees to feel involved in our departmental work outside the operating room and prefer that everyone has an area of responsibility.

Other:

Everyone here works during the day. 40 hours a week. Most arrange their working hours so that they are off one Friday out of four. Since we have operations until 6 PM three days a week, everyone needs to take about one 6 PM shift every other week.

Who are you?

You are a licensed nurse with specialized training in operating room nursing.

You have a strong commitment to patient care and are skilled at working both independently and in a team. You are positive, secure, and stable and have the ability to see the overall perspective in the operation when you work. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You are open to improvements and want to contribute to our common development. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Qualifications:

Licensed nurse with specialized training in operating room nursing. We prefer that you have worked as an operating room nurse for a few years, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.
