About the position

The Clinical Chemistry 24Seven unit, which is part of Medical Diagnostics Karolinska, is a part of Karolinska University Hospital and includes laboratories at the hospitals in Solna and Huddinge, Danderyd Hospital, Södersjukhuset, Södertälje Hospital, and Norrtälje Hospital. We work with high-tech equipment and offer diagnostic services around the clock. The 24Seven unit in Södertälje is located at Södertälje Hospital and focuses on five areas: Customer-Preanalysis, General and Immunochemistry, Hematology, Coagulation/Other Chemistry, and Microbiology/PCR.

We continuously work on development and improvement efforts to streamline our processes where you play an important role. Training occurs during the day and at night until the necessary qualifications have been achieved. You will be involved in examinations of biological material, primarily blood, to diagnose diseases and monitor treatment effects. Your work includes preparing samples and ensuring that all necessary preparations are completed before the analyses are performed.

The position is 75% and involves work on weekends and light weekends.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed biomedical analyst
• Experience working in a clinical chemistry laboratory
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
