Stockholms Sjukhem offers inpatient specialized rehabilitation (neurological and surgical) in Kungsholmen, as well as rehabilitation for spinal cord injured patients. And now we need another physiotherapist. Care is provided in multiprofessional teams, where we work closely with both the patient and their relatives. Through collaboration, we develop ambitious, qualitative, and sustainable rehabilitation efforts with the individual in focus.

We are centrally located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.

About the role of physiotherapist

The tasks consist of the usual duties of a physiotherapist on a ward and mainly include:

• assessment and mapping of activity and mobility ability as well as follow-up.
• training both individually and in groups.
• fitting and prescribing assistive devices.
• if necessary, the physiotherapist and occupational therapist make home visits together as part of the discharge planning.

We work in a team-based manner, and in addition to contact with other physiotherapists, you have support from your other colleagues in the team such as occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, speech therapists, rehabilitation assistants, and psychologists, as well as nursing staff (nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, discharge coordinators). We work with the TakeCare journal system.

The tasks also include supervising students.

The position is a fixed-term employment for 6 months, full-time Monday - Friday, weekend work is included in the employment. We apply individual salary setting. For the right person, there may be a possibility for extension. Flex agreements are available.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist, experience in both neurological rehabilitation and spinal cord injury rehabilitation is an advantage. Your personal qualities are important to us. We want you to be communicative, maintain a high level of service, and be unpretentious in your approach to the outside world. You contribute with your skills, experience, and commitment to the organization's improvement and development work. You appreciate variation and the ability to switch between a team-oriented and individual working style. The position requires you to master the Swedish language fluently in both speech and writing and have good computer skills.
