About us

Capio Orthopedic House is part of the Capio Orthopedics business area, which is a network of 13 orthopedic clinics in Sweden, of which 6 are in Stockholm. The Orthopedic House is a highly specialized orthopedic clinic with approximately 80 employees and is one of Stockholm's largest elective units outside of hospitals. We have care agreements with Region Stockholm but also collaborate with several insurance companies. Here, both outpatient services and day surgery as well as inpatient surgical care are provided.

We conduct highly specialized orthopedic activities in hip and knee prosthetic surgery as well as arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. In Stockholm, we are the leading clinic with a specific agreement for advanced foot orthopedics.

The clinic has 4 modern operating rooms and a ward with 19 beds for inpatient care, open Monday to Friday.

The operating department has an associated sterile unit that is staffed daily by nursing assistants and sterilization technicians, but where operating room nurses also assist as time permits. Your role

We are looking for an operating room nurse for regular tasks with an interest in orthopedics who wants to help develop the unit in a continued positive direction. We are looking for someone who enjoys working systematically, independently, but also in a team where everyone works towards common goals to create effective patient flows. We rotate between inpatient and outpatient surgery. Currently, the work is conducted during the day, Monday to Thursday, closed on weekends/public holidays.

About you

You are a licensed nurse with specialized training in surgical nursing. As a person, you are confident in your professional role, service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. You take initiative and responsibility for your own tasks but also for the whole. You are flexible and unpretentious as the work as an operating room nurse at the Orthopedic House is based on teamwork. Furthermore, it is important to have a quality mindset with a focus on high patient safety.

Experience in Orthopedics is an advantage.
