BUP Stockholm Neuropsychiatry is looking for a PTP psychologist for our unit, which is currently located at Torsplan but will move to fresh and pleasant premises at Brommaplan in May 2025.
In addition to wanting to do the job as well as possible and increase accessibility to care for our target group, we work to build a well-functioning workplace where we thrive and have the opportunity to develop the organization together.
The clinic's mission is to conduct assessments of neuropsychiatric difficulties. The unit employs psychologists, doctors, and medical secretaries. BUP Neuropsychiatry has opened five units since May 2022 located in Mörby, Sickla, Solna, Kungsholmen, and Älvsjö. The section also includes En väg in, which assesses and triages all care requests coming into BUP Stockholm.
Job Description
As a PTP psychologist, your main tasks will be to carry out neuropsychiatric assessments of children and young people according to national guidelines. You will collaborate with doctors and write referral responses and statements, providing feedback to families and preschools/schools. Collaboration with care neighbors and partners both within and outside the organization is also included.
You are part of a team and have the opportunity to contribute to continuous development by participating in the ongoing development work of the organization. You will be offered both individual supervision and group supervision. You will also have the opportunity to participate in BUP's local PTP program and in Region Stockholm's central PTP program.
There is a possibility for remote work with administrative tasks/remote contacts if the organization allows, equivalent to about one day a week.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a psychology degree approved for practice in Sweden. Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry and experience in neuropsychiatric assessments are advantageous.
Personal Attributes
As a person, you are self-driven, meticulous, work systematically, and are flexible in patient and parent contacts. You have excellent collaboration skills and good judgment. If you are interested in the digitization of care processes, this is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Form

BUP Neuropsychiatry is part of BUP Stockholm. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents aged 0 to 17 within the Stockholm region. We are part of the Stockholm County Council's healthcare area, which is a provider within Region Stockholm. Together, we within BUP have about 1,000 employees who each year meet over 22,000 children, adolescents, and their families.
The position will be filled provided that it does not need to be used for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
For patient-related work within the Stockholm County Council's healthcare area:
- background checks will be applied before a hiring decision according to current guidelines.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
