Job description

In the role of outpatient nurse, you will become a central part of patients' journeys towards better health. You will provide support and advice via tele Q and the chat function on 1177, Always Open, and be responsible for booking patients with heart failure, coronary artery disease, hypertension, and lipid disorders. You will also have your own outpatient clinic within heart failure, where you will have the opportunity to create strong bonds and continuity with patients.

In the ward, you will encounter the full spectrum of cardiological conditions, with a particular focus on heart failure – both newly diagnosed and chronic. Here you will have the opportunity to develop broad and in-depth knowledge within the world of cardiology, both in terms of medical treatment and nursing.

Qualifications

We are looking for a nurse who has at least 2 years of experience in acute heart care. Experience in outpatient work is an advantage. You should have a good understanding of flows and processes in both outpatient and inpatient care.

Personal qualities

You have a strong commitment, can work independently, are structured, see opportunities, and want to develop in your role as a nurse. Like us, you value good collaboration and contribute to a good team spirit. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

About the operation

The Heart Clinic is one of Sweden's largest in terms of the number of employees and patients. In recent years, we have been at the top of national quality indices for the care and follow-up of heart patients. The clinic has six wards, two day care units, four intervention labs, and a large outpatient operation. The physiology clinic conducts cutting-edge diagnostics, including a comprehensive echocardiography and arrhythmia operation, heart-MR, nuclear medicine, and is accredited according to Swedac.
