Jakobsberg University Health Center is part of SLSO, the Stockholm County Healthcare Area.

We are located at Jakobsberg Hospital, within walking distance from Jakobsberg Center, and a 18-minute train ride from Stockholm city.

We are a friendly workplace with about 50 employees from various professions. We have approximately 13,500 registered patients and are one of the larger health centers in the region.

Job Responsibilities:

The work involves all tasks associated with a district nurse/nurse at the health center and in home healthcare. You will be part of our home healthcare team. Your main focus will be on basic home healthcare and mentoring nursing assistants and students.

The work requires broad competence and independence. We value good continuing education and high medical quality.

Qualifications:

Licensed nurse or District Nurse with prescribing rights and authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have previous experience in primary care and home healthcare. Good computer skills and experience with the TakeCare journal system are required. A valid driver's license (B) is a must.

Employment Type:

Permanent employment. Full-time 100%. A probationary period may apply. Working hours Monday to Friday. Start date according to agreement.

  • background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to current guidelines.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
