About us

In the day surgery department, we receive patients of all ages from one year and up who are to be operated on under local anesthesia or general anesthesia. We take care of the preoperative care where we prepare patients for surgery and the postoperative care before discharge.

We offer a workplace with varied tasks and learning together with colleagues who focus on eye care. We continuously work to evaluate our methods and review our routines together.

About the position

We are looking for a nurse who will take care of our patients in the day surgery department. You will work rotating in both the local flow and in the anesthesia flow, and if necessary, assist at the reception. The work is daytime with occasional later shifts during the week when you are responsible for closing and ensuring the last patient is finished. You will receive individual onboarding.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. You have previous experience working in day surgery and ophthalmology. We also see that you have experience with TakeCare and Orbit. You should have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing.

As a person, you are flexible and meticulous. You find it easy to collaborate and enjoy working in a team. You also thrive on taking your own initiative and working independently. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment. A six-month probationary period may be applicable.

Fixed rolling schedule with daytime work and some shifts during the week until 7 PM.

Start date according to agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
