About the position

The Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit (BIMA) is a highly specialized care unit within the Pediatric-PMI function and part of the Pediatric Intensive Care section. With us, critically ill children of all ages are cared for after treatment in intensive care, surgery, general wards, or emergency departments. Our patients have threatening or manifest, potentially reversible, failures in vital functions but do not require intensive care resources.

We have a well-established collaboration with long-term intensive care (LIVA) where there is extensive experience with children with respiratory problems and often in need of tracheostomy.

We are looking for someone who

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• Two years of experience in the profession
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience in pediatric nursing
• Specialist training in pediatric and adolescent medicine or intensive care
• Experience in intermediate care or intensive care
