About the position

The Unit for Health Professions plays an important role in the care provided at Karolinska University Hospital. We are now looking for a physiotherapist for our section within Cancer, Infection, Inflammation, and Women's Health in Huddinge. Here you will meet engaged and knowledgeable colleagues and have the opportunity to work in a stimulating work environment.

We are now seeking a physiotherapist for our operations focusing on pelvic health and bowel therapy at the Neurogastro Clinic in Huddinge.

The Neurogastro Clinic receives patients with functional bowel dysfunctions. The physiotherapists at the clinic receive and treat patients primarily for evacuation problems and anal leakage, but also for rumination and abdominal pain. The patient group is varied, and treatment includes, among other things, testing and prescribing consumable aids (e.g., TAI) and treatment with Biofeedback.

Supervision of Swedish and international students is a natural part of your job. Your tasks also include contributing to the development of, for example, care programs and workflows based on evidence and patient needs.

This advertisement is for a permanent position, with an initial 6-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed physiotherapist with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare

Meritorious:

• Master's degree and/or specialist competence in obstetrics, gynecology, and urology
• Completed training in incontinence care and prescribing consumable aids
• Experience and documented training in performing vaginal and anorectal examinations
• Competence in areas such as pain, psychosomatics, sexual medicine/sexology, MI, or behavioral science
• Training/competence in treatment with Biofeedback
