About the position

As an occupational therapist, you will work in teams where you contribute your expertise to meet the patient's needs for assessment and treatment. Your contributions are a vital part of creating conditions for safe planning of care time, safe discharge, reduced risk of readmission, and evaluating care outcomes. Examples of tasks include mapping ADL ability, initial rehabilitation, assessment of cognitive function, and counseling for patients and relatives.

You will work closely with patients alongside physiotherapists, dietitians, social workers, speech therapists, nursing assistants, and nurses, focusing on ensuring the highest possible level of activity, independence, and quality of life for each patient. Your tasks will also include student supervision. We see a focus on continuous development of care and workflows based on evidence and patient needs as important components.

Within the organization, you will meet engaged and knowledgeable colleagues and have the opportunity to work in a stimulating work environment. We are now looking for an occupational therapist who wants to help drive care forward. Primarily, we are seeking a colleague for our trauma flow.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed occupational therapist authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare

Meritorious:

  • Experience in acute care
  • Master's degree and/or specialist competence
  • Dissertation
