We are looking for a qualified teacher in Mathematics and/or Science for Svärdsjöskolan 7-9!

Svärdsjöskolan is a F-9 school with approximately 470 students, of which 250 are in grades 7-9. At Svärdsjöskolan, we work to create a safe learning environment where knowledge, engagement, and collaboration permeate our work. The goal is for all students leaving Svärdsjöskolan to be independent and able to take responsibility for their future.

Job Responsibilities

You will teach Mathematics and/or Science in grades 7-9. You are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating your teaching in relation to student learning and the school’s governing documents. You will be part of a grade-level team and are expected to collaborate with your colleagues to develop teaching and stimulate students' knowledge acquisition and goal fulfillment. You will collaborate for a good learning and working environment and actively participate in the school's development work. The position also includes mentorship in a grade.

Qualifications

The role requires:

• Teacher training with qualifications in Mathematics and/or Science

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone who is confident and clear in their leadership and professional role, responsible, attentive, and works individually tailored. You also have the ability to create good student and parent contacts. You are communicative and have good collaboration skills. You contribute to a good collaborative climate in meetings with both colleagues and school management.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working with students in need of special support
• Experience in pedagogical development work

Employment Conditions

Permanent full-time employment. Start date according to agreement.
