About the position

At Bonzi, we are looking for new colleagues who want to work as personal assistants on an as-needed basis for our child client living in Enskede. As a substitute, you will work during the absence of regular assistants, such as during vacations or illness. The shifts are mainly in the evenings on weekdays and during the day and evening on weekends. If you can also work during the summer, that is an extra merit.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily routines
• Help with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals
• Lifting may occur during transfers
• Play
• Accompany on activities

The position involves shifts scheduled according to the following working hours:

• 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM (weekdays)
• 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (weekends)
• 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM (weekends)
• 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM (awake night on weekdays)
• 1:00 AM - 8:00 AM (awake night on weekends)

About the client

The client is an 11-year-old boy who needs your help as an assistant in his daily life as he has autism and muscular dystrophy. The boy lives with his mother, and there are 2 cats in the home, so you cannot be allergic. Some days of the month, the boy is in short-term care and without an assistant.

Are you the one we are looking for:

You are a person with great responsibility and sensitivity towards children with disabilities. You must be punctual and responsible and able to take both written and verbal directives to create security.

You can work varied hours and are responsible, empathetic, humble, and still have a childlike spirit.

For our client to feel comfortable with you, you need to be a positive, warm, secure, and attentive person with a lot of patience. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Professional experience with alternative communication such as TAKK
• Education in healthcare and social care

Requirements:

• You master Swedish fluently in speech and writing as well as comprehension
• Non-smoker
• Not allergic to pets
• Professional experience working with children with disabilities
• Professional experience working as a personal assistant

Scope: 1-2 positions as substitutes as needed.

Start date: Immediately. Interviews are ongoing and may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreements.
