You are responsible for investigation, administration, and dialogue with individuals and partners. In the role of insurance investigator with a focus on in-depth investigation, you will handle applications for sickness benefits. This may include ongoing documentation as well as calculations and disbursements of compensation. You actively work and independently make decisions about the right to sickness benefits by applying legislation and established work processes in a correct and legally secure manner. The work involves making qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, primarily medical certificates.
As an insurance investigator, you investigate and clarify rehabilitation needs and collaborate with other actors such as healthcare providers and employers to ensure that individuals can return to work as soon as possible. You work in a differentiated manner, and the work is characterized by early interventions based on the individual's unique situation and needs. You meet individuals and partners via phone and in writing, as well as in digital meetings when needed. You inform and explain extensive information based on the individual's specific needs. Your contacts are characterized by attentiveness, respect, and a desire to create security and understanding of the sickness insurance system for individuals and partners. You collaborate with your colleagues, and you actively work to develop your knowledge, share experiences, and support each other when needed.
As a new employee, you will receive an introductory training and support from a mentor. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on legally secure management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

- has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
- is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations

- can understand and analyze complex issues
- has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- executes plans and processes and ensures they maintain high quality.
It is advantageous if you:
- have worked with qualified investigations and made decisions that have affected individuals, preferably in a government agency
- have professional experience in meeting people in difficult life situations
- have the ability to prioritize based on the needs of the organization
- are comfortable working with the phone as a work tool.

Other: Several positions, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. The Swedish Social Insurance Agency may conduct a financial background check before employment. In this recruitment, psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process.
