Business Developer for Police Training Operations

Are you ready for a bigger challenge? We are now looking for a business developer for the police training operations, based at the HR department's competence development unit (KUE). With us, you will develop alongside engaged and friendly colleagues, gaining life-long experiences while your work contributes to increasing safety and reducing crime in Sweden.

The HR department is tasked with creating conditions for a business-driven, professional, accessible, and equitable HR support within the Police Authority. The department is responsible for the agency's overall work in areas such as competence supply, competence development, recruitment and staffing, employer policies/contracts, leadership and employee relations, work environment, and culture.

The competence development unit is responsible for competence development and learning within the Police Authority, including the implementation of structured continuing education and other training that the Police Authority is required to organize according to law or regulation (e.g., training for security guards).

The unit's mission involves meeting the Police Authority's needs for competence supply measures by directing, supporting, and creating conditions for operations, as well as planning, implementing, developing, following up, and quality assuring prioritized continuing education.

The competence unit currently consists of four sections, and your placement will be in section 1, where group 4 is responsible for business development, supporting training projects, and acting as a sounding board for parts of the agency's capability development. We strive for learning within the agency to be flexible, integrated into operations, and supported digitally. We also work on strategic issues assigned by the unit's leadership.

The position can be based in Linköping or Malmö.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a business developer, you will participate in and drive the work to transition and develop the Police Authority's training operations into more flexible, online, and integrated formats. This includes leading, driving, and coordinating development assignments with the target group in focus. You will also mentor and support the organization in both the development and transition of new or existing capabilities. Through environmental monitoring, your own experiences, and knowledge, you will contribute to the development of tomorrow's learning environment.

Examples of job responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the work of pedagogically transitioning and developing the Police Authority's training operations into more flexible, integrated, and online training formats
  • Lead, drive, and coordinate shorter and longer development assignments related to education and learning
  • Mentor and support in both the development and transition of new or existing capabilities
  • Integrate content, pedagogy, and design in the Police's learning platform IKT-pedagogical course development work for the Police Authority's training
  • Basic media production for digital learning
  • Work with various digital tools such as LMS, authoring tools, e-meeting systems, etc., to develop more effective learning forms

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a university degree in areas such as pedagogy, HR, economics, or other education combined with work experience that the employer deems equivalent
  • experience working with similar job responsibilities that the employer considers relevant
  • relevant experience in project management from idea to implementation
  • experience identifying competence and training needs and creating training plans
  • experience in course development with a focus on blended learning
  • excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

We consider it meritorious if you also have:

  • experience in competence supply in large organizations
  • experience working with training in large organizations
  • familiarity with working in educational systems (LMS)
  • experience working with individuals in leadership positions
  • experience in producing digital content, such as audio, video, and interactive exercises
