We are currently seeking a junior Business Analyst for our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy sector, for a project at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-looking environment with many development opportunities. This is initially a consulting assignment for 6 months via Unik Resurs, with a good possibility of extension. We apply ongoing selection, which means that the assignment may be filled before the application deadline.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Business Analyst

Siemens Energy in Finspång is now looking for a Business Analyst who wants to be part of our team and work with strategic data analysis and decision support.

About the Role

As a Business Analyst with us, you will work on collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to support business decisions. You will collaborate with various departments to improve processes and identify optimization opportunities. Your main tasks will include:

Analyzing large datasets to identify trends and insights.
Developing reports and visualizations using Power BI and Tableau.
Creating and maintaining databases and contributing to system architecture.
Communicating complex information clearly and structured to various stakeholders.
Writing user stories and documentation for system development.
Collaborating with teams in both technology and business development to enhance data-driven decisions.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who is analytical, solution-oriented, and has a good ability to collaborate. You have strong communication skills and can explain complex information in an educational manner.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
Experience in data analysis and decision support.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to communicate effectively in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing.
Experience working in teams and managing various stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in database management and system architecture.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
Experience working with user stories and documentation.
