Job Advertisement: Legal Advisor with a Focus on Insolvency Law
Linköping District Court is one of the country's medium-sized courts with approximately 60 employees. The court handles criminal cases, civil cases, and matters. Our task is to resolve cases and matters in a legally secure and efficient manner.
The court is divided into two adjudicating departments consisting of several divisions. Each department has a chief judge as well as judges, case handlers, and clerks. There is also an administrative department responsible for, among other things, financial and personnel administration, janitorial services, and reception.
The operations are conducted in bright, purpose-built premises in the Garnison area of Linköping, where we are co-located with the Administrative Court and the Rent and Tenancy Board in Linköping.
Job Description
The court intends to establish a new type of position as a legal advisor focusing on insolvency law, particularly concerning enforcement matters. The idea is for you to work closely with the court's judges while independently managing various categories of cases that have been appealed from the Enforcement Authority. The tasks include contacts with parties, lawyers, authorities, and the public. By focusing on a specific legal area, there are good opportunities for specialization and development.
Qualifications
You are a clerk-licensed lawyer from the district court. The work requires very good judgment, excellent analytical skills, great attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and excellent collaboration skills. It is advantageous if you already have knowledge in insolvency law, particularly issues that may arise within the framework of enforcement matters.
Employment Conditions
Fixed-term employment for up to one year (special fixed-term employment).
Individual salary setting applies.
Other
To ensure an inclusive and fair recruitment process, the Swedish courts apply competency-based recruitment. Our selection is based on candidates' competencies and merits.
We kindly request no direct contact from staffing and recruitment agencies or sellers of additional job advertisements.
