Pedagogical Care
Pedagogical care is offered instead of preschool or after-school care and is aimed at children of the same ages as those in preschool and after-school care.
Family daycare is a form of pedagogical care. As a childcare provider, you work in your own home (family daycare). The home must be suitably adapted (safe, secure, and healthy) for the children who stay there, including the outdoor environment. Children should be served varied and nutritious meals. The environment and materials should promote good pedagogical activities. The number of children in a childcare provider's group is estimated to be 5-6. Children should have the opportunity to meet other children and childcare providers regularly to promote and develop diverse contacts and social community among the children and between children and adults.
Your Responsibilities
As a childcare provider, you are responsible for creating an environment, routines, and structure that provide children with security and stimulate and challenge their learning. You take into account the children's different conditions and needs. It is important that you can plan and implement activities with children individually and in groups, such as gatherings and activities outdoors and indoors. Your collaboration with guardians is conducted in a trusting manner. In collaboration with other childcare providers in the area, you are responsible for planning, documenting, evaluating, and continuously ensuring the quality of the operations. You collaborate to keep working hours at a reasonable level based on applicable agreements.
About You
We are looking for someone who is a trained childcare worker and has experience working in preschool, pedagogical care, or with children. The residence where the operations will be conducted is located in the areas of Hissjö, Håkmark, or Tavelsjö. It can be a villa, farm, or apartment with access to a safe outdoor environment. Before employment can be considered, the home must be approved for family daycare operations. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Since bus connections do not always align with working hours, a B driver's license and access to a private car are required.
You must provide a smoke- and tobacco-free home and be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Due to the law on suitability checks, a police record extract must be presented upon employment. The check of the criminal record also includes individuals aged 15 or older who are registered at the address.
